Metis Local 845 Metis Interpretive Program, Tipi Camping & Tenting

METIS INTERPRETIVE
This year marks the sixth year of partnership between Parks Canada and the Métis Nation of Alberta at Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site.  Bring your family out and enjoy an informative and engaging interpretive offer at the Métis tents.  Walk the footsteps of the Fur Trade at the archeological sites of 2 HBC and 2 NWC forts. We will be facilitating new events and opportunities for the public to take part in throughout the summer.  Metis Interpreters are onsite Thurs thru Mondays weekly until September 5th, 2010.

TIPI CAMPING
Looking for something a little different this summer?  Come have an authentic tipi camping experience at the heart of  the Site in Rocky Mountain House, AB.  We currently have three large tipis placed in close proximity to the river available for booking throughout the summer. This experience is perfect for a birthday party, social occasion, family getaway, or planned social event.  Plan your trip and take your experience to the next level!! Tenting is available in the campground on site as well. Reasonable fees are in effect.

For inquiries please contact MNA Local 845, Métis Program Coordinator
